Natalia is in her fifth (and final!) year of the Bachelor of Education program. She loves helping others and is deeply motivated by a desire to make a positive change in the world. Natalia is passionate about her future career in education, as she believes that shaping young minds is one of the most impactful ways to contribute to society.

In her practicums, Natalia has been noted for the connections she forms with both students and teachers, her collaboration with peers, and her ability to adapt lesson plans to suit the class in front of her. Maybe ask her to recite some poetry as she also ran a poetry club! 

In her work as a Twisted Tutor, Natalia brings a wealth of resources and strategies to the table, including differentiated teaching methods and extensive knowledge of the BC Curriculum which have helped her to empower the learners she tutors. Her practicum experience spans various subjects, including math, science, language arts, performing arts, and social studies, along with working with students with diverse needs. Her focus is early literacy, reading & writing!

Beyond her academic pursuits, Natalia enjoys a range of personal interests that keep her grounded and balanced. She loves going for walks, reading, baking, and spending time outdoors, especially in the sun. Her social life is enriched by spending quality time with her friends and family, whom she holds dear. Natalia strongly values the principle of treating others how she wishes to be treated, reflecting her compassionate and empathetic nature.

Natalia grew up in Abbotsford, BC, but one of her favourite escapes is Northern Manitoba, where she enjoys fishing and spending time on the water. These trips allow her to reconnect with nature and unwind from her busy life.

Whether it’s on the water in Manitoba or in her daily interactions with students and peers, Natalia strives to make every moment meaningful and purposeful!
